Luke Shaw Has Turned Into 'Prime Roberto Carlos' And Manchester United Fans Are Amazed

Luke Shaw Has Turned Into 'Prime Roberto Carlos' And Manchester United Fans Are Amazed

Luke Shaw has become one of Manchester United's most important players this year and put in an incredible performance during their 3-2 win over Liverpool.

United signed Alex Telles in the summer and many thought he would replace Shaw at left-back.

But the 25-year-old has responded brilliantly by playing some of the best football of his Old Trafford career.

He again covered every blade of grass in this evening's FA Cup clash and had the quality to match.

Fans have reacted to the performance and they think Shaw is matching the form of a 'prime Roberto Carlos.'

Telles, who is competing for Shaw's spot, thinks his form will benefit the Red Devils.

"I'm very prepared to play," Telles told ManUnited.com.

"I'm also very happy with the performances of Luke and his hard work.

"I came here to play. And both me and Luke really develop together, both in training and games. I've played and have put in some good performances as well.

"United benefit from this as well, United the club, because we win by having good players available. And if needed I'm here, ready, focused and prepared to play.

"And once again I repeat that I'm really happy for Luke Shaw, his great performances and contributions."
