Moussa Marega Attempts To Substitute Himself After Receiving Horrific Racist Abuse

Porto forward Moussa Marega attempted to substitute himself from the pitch this evening following racist abuse from Vitoria de Guimaraes fans.
The Mali international celebrated scoring the winner against his former side and received monkey chants from the home fans.
Following the abuse, he attempted to leave the pitch and had to be physically restrained by teammates.
Another day in football, another racism incident. Porto striker Marega walks off the pitch after Vitoria Guimarães fans racially abused him.

The 28-year-old is visibly distraught as teammates attempt to calm him down.
Marega then gestured towards the Vitoria fans by booing them and giving them a thumbs down for their disgusting actions.
He took to Instagram following the game and told the racist fans to 'go f**k youtself'.
Fans on Twitter supported Marega and condemned the home fans for their appalling behavior.
Moussa Marega incident for those that haven't seen it, 100% within his rights to want to leave the field. FC Porto, Sérgio and the Liga need to stand by him and make sure that this incident goes punished.

Marega was being racially abused from the first minute of the game, he later scored then pointed to his skin and shushed the scummy fans. There's no place for racism in society let alone football. Disgusting. pic.twitter.com/2a8u2tTgYi

Moussa Marega was racially abused by Vitória fans today (the team he scored 25 goals for in one season), and instead of supporting him and trying to uplift him, both Porto and Vitória players tried to force him to stay on the pitch.
