A Liverpool fan on Twitter has posted nine times that VAR has gone against them this season.

SamuelLFC's thread has gone viral after listing the times VAR has gone against Liverpool despite rival fans thinking it's biased towards 'The Reds'.

Crystal Palace had a goal chalked off by VAR on Saturday after James Tomkins was judged to have pushed Dejan Lovren in the build up.

But the thread has listed numerous occasions that have seen VAR go against Jurgen Klopp's side

Liverpool have won 12 of their 13 games but it could have been 13 if Manchester United's goal against them last month was disallowed.

The game at Old Trafford ended 1-1 but Divock Origi looked to have been fouled by Victor Lindelof in the build-up to Marcus Rashford's opener.

The ref ruled in United's favour and Liverpool had to come from behind to draw 1-1.

Another contentious decision was Roberto Firmino's disallowed goal against Aston Villa.

Klopp's men were trailing 1-0 at Villa Park and the Brazilian thought he'd leveled the game.

But VAR bizarrely judged his armpit to have been offside and chalked the goal off.

Many believed that Tyone Mings was in an offside position for Villa's opener but the goal was given.

Liverpool still managed to come back and win 2-1 so it's a testament to their mentality.

Despite the belief they have benefited from VAR most, they would still be top of the table by seven points without it.

Champions Manchester City would be in second place rather than third in the table.
