Fans think that Romelu Lukaku's 'king' tweet last night is a dig aimed at former Manchester United teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Lukaku's Inter Milan defeated Ibrahimovic's AC 4-2 in last night's Milan derby with the Belgian scoring his side's fourth.

He took to Twitter following the game and tweeted 'There's a new king in town'.

Zlatan has referred to himself as the 'King of Milan' in the past after his successful first spell in 2010 to 2012.

Zlatan returned to AC in January after a stint in America with LA Galaxy and has scored two goals in five games.

Lukaku, meanwhile, has scored 17 goals in 23 games since his £65 million transfer from United in the summer.

AC took the lead through Ante Rebic last night before Zlatan doubled their advantage just before half-time.

But Inter came out reinvigorated in the second half and were level within 10 minutes thanks to goals from Marcelo Brozovic and Matias Vecino.

Stefan de Vrij scored 20 minutes from time before Lukaku sealed victory in injury time.

Zlatan fumed about the result at full-time and couldn't understand how the 'Rossoneri' let their lead slip.

"It's difficult to explain what happened," the Swede told Sky Sports Italia per Daily Mail.

"At half-time we told ourselves the first 15 minutes going back out there will be crucial, and in that 15-minute spell we conceded two goals.

"We stopped playing, the team stopped believing, we stopped pressing, didn't pass it around enough. From the equaliser onwards, everything collapsed.

"I think a lot of it is down to experience, because you must know how to control a game at 2-0 up, not just winning at the end,' he rued.

"t's strange because our first half was practically perfect. I expected more from Inter and the first half performance did not look like a team worthy of second place. They did after the break."
