Chelsea's official Twitter account may have changed the face of football analysis forever with a full breakdown of their win over Atletico Madrid.

The Blues ran out 1-0 winners in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 clash thanks to Olivier Giroud's overhead kick.

But the performance was much more than that, with Thomas Tuchel's men preventing Atletico from a single shot on target.

It's usually left to pundits to pick the bones and discuss every point of the game - but Chelsea's admin had other ideas with 'The Debrief Extra'.

A full tactical breakdown of the counter-pressing employed by Chelsea out in Bucharest is given, along with relevant stats.

Individual focus is put on captain Cesar Azpilicueta and Mason Mount, kitted out with in-depth touch maps.

Atletico's '6-3-1' formation was a key talking point and Chelsea exploited that with their attack.

Fans have reacted to the video and they think it could be the future when it comes to football discussion.

However, some are annoyed with the discussion and think with a second leg coming up it makes Chelsea look more vulnerable.

Tuchel praised Giroud following the game and said his impact is like that of a much younger player, despite being 34-years-old.

He told Sky Sports: "If you see him on a daily basis, you cannot be surprised. He is totally fit, his body is in shape and his physicality is on top level.

"Mentally I have really the feeling he enjoys every day being a professional soccer player on this level and this is the level he needs to be.

"He trains like a 20-year-old, like a 24-year-old. He is a guy who has a good mixture of serious and joy in training. He is always positive and it is a big factor for the group.

"He starts, when he comes from the bench, he has all these qualities and it is good like this."
