PSV's Eran Zahavi Once Again Replaces Palestine Flag With Israel One

PSV forward Eran Zahavi has again swapped a Palestine flag for an Israel one in an Instagram post, this time after Manchester United's Paul Pogba and Amad Diallo held the flag on Tuesday.

The pair carried the Palestine flag during a lap of honur around Old Trafford following the Red Devils' 1-1 draw with Fulham, showing solidarity with the nation after its latest confrontation with Israel - that has led to many Palestinians having to flee their homes due to the conflict and rockets fired by Palestinian militant group Hamas into Israel.

Zahavi, who signed for PSV last summer following spells in China and Italy as well as his home country, took to Instagram to pst an image of the pair holding the flag - but edited to show the Israeli flag instead.

It has been a difficult time for Zahavi recently, after his family was robbed at gunpoint in their home last Sunday. His family came to no harm, but some possessions were taken from the house.

After the incident, he posted to his Instagram account thanking his supporters and PSV for their support: "Thanks everyone for the support during this week, and big thanks for my wife. Thanks PSV for every small detail during this difficult moment #lovealwayswins".
