England pair Mason Greenwood and Phil Foden reportedly invited girls back to their hotel room after Saturday's win over Iceland - breaking strict coronavirus rules.

Icelandic publication DV claim the girls posted pictures of the pair to Snapchat discussing the incident.

In the videos, one girl is heard saying: "Casual Sunday here with *****. She was booking a hotel to meet who?"

The other one replied: "Mason Greenwood, and I'm nervous. Very f**king nervous."

DV approached the girls for comment and they replied: "We do not want to discuss this. We don't want to get them in trouble.

"We had no idea about these rules, they never said we couldn't take pictures. We have sent them messages that this is happening, but they haven't opened the message."

Gareth Southgate's side were exempt from Iceland's travel restrictions, but were told to not meet anyone outside of their bubble

Both players did not train with the Three Lions this morning and could miss their next game against Denmark on Tuesday.

Both players received their first cap during Saturday's 1-0 victory, with Foden starting the game and Greenwood coming off the bench respectively.

Southgate is set to face questions from the media on Monday afternoon, where the pair will likely be discussed.

Greenwood shot to prominence with Manchester United this season and became a regular starter as the club secured Champions League football.

Meanwhile, Foden has seen his game time at Manchester City increase and is highly rated by manager Pep Guardiola.
