Mario Balotelli has taken to social media to congratulate Paul Pogba after France's 3-1 win over Italy on Friday night.
Antoine Griezmann, Samuel Umtiti, and Ousmane Dembele scored as France beat their neighbours on home turf.
Afterwards, the charismatic Balotelli took to social media to say well done to France - in the best way he knows how.
The striker said: Balotelli said:"Mmm.. ok! About yesterday night.. @paulpogba bravo Paul !!! But you still ugly bro."
Pogba was roundly booed by home supporters for his performance against the Italians and was subbed off in the second half by manager Didier Deschamps, with Steven N'Zonzi replacing the towering Manchester United midfielder.
Pogba started the season brilliantly but his form waned as the season progressed. He remains a contentious figure in football. Some games he can put on a world class performance, the next his form and confidence seems to be shot.
There are also suggestions that Pogba and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho aren't on great terms and that the 25-year-old could well be on his way of Old Trafford this summer. Hopefully this is not the case, but even the relationship between Pogba and sections of the Manchester United supporters has been fraught.
As for Balotelli, he enjoyed a wonderful season with Nice, scoring 26 goals in all competitions.
Who knows, we could see the Italian back in the Premier League some point soon.
