Real Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini has taken the extraordinary step of slamming the style of football in La Liga.
Former Manchester City and West Ham boss Pellegrini took charge of Betis in July 2020, leading them to a sixth-place finish and Europa League football in his first season.
He had previously been in charge of Villarreal, Real Madrid and Malaga in Spain prior to a three-year spell at City where he won the Premier League and two League Cups.

Known for his usually unflappable demeanour, Pellegrini's lack of passion on the touchlines was often criticised during his brief stint at the Hammers from 2018 to 2019.
However, in a rare outburst, the Chilean has now taken aim at the lack of entertainment on show in Spain's top tier.
He told Marca: "La Liga is the slowest league in Europe, with the least amount of actual football.

"People want to watch a show, and we're not giving it to them. The most time-wasting, the most dives, it's a disgrace.
"We have to make an effort between referees and players so that the Spanish league is not this shame.
"There is a show that we have to take care of. People pay a ticket for something."

The normally passive Pellegrini cut an angry figure after Betis were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Cadiz on Friday.
Cadiz led through Alvaro Negredo's 11th-minute penalty, with Juanmi levelling matters soon after.
Pellergini implied Cadiz had parked the bus thereafter, stating: "Cadiz is a team that only dedicates itself to defending and if they get ahead the difficulty is greater.

"We look for alternatives, but we do not find spaces for the second goal.
"Cadiz only defend. The last 15 minutes were not played."
