Manchester United Supporters Pose With Lucas Moura Following Spurs Defeat

Manchester United Supporters Pose With Lucas Moura Following Spurs Defeat

Manchester United supporters posed alongside Spurs attacker Lucas Moura following their side's humiliating defeat at Old Trafford - and the reaction to it on social media has been critical.

The Red Devils won their opening game of the Premier League season to Leicester City, but cracks were evident in their next game. Against Brighton, they lost 3-2 at the Amex, with criticism aimed at Jose Mourinho.

Man United hold an impressive record against Spurs, and playing at home, but all that was smashed as second half goals from Harry Kane and Moura saw Mourinho's men earn just three points out of a possible nine.

But one of the talking points wasn't just the terrible result for Man United, it was, in fact, the actions of a few of their supporters.

After the game, some Man United supporters in the front row of Old Trafford asked to have to their picture taken with the man whose brace put them to bed - Moura.

Obviously, this hasn't gone down too well on social media, with many calling the fans who wanted to be snapped with the former Paris Saint-Germain player 'plastic'.
