When Man United shipped off Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan in the summer, the Belgian International was widely considered to be a flop who'd failed to prove himself as a top level striker.
Since then though the 26 year-old striker has been doing everything possible to prove his former club wrong, and it looks like he might have the last laugh.

Yes, that's right- since joining Inter, Lukaku has managed to score more goals in the league on his own than United have been able to muster all season. Incredible
Lukaku has shown a massive amount of willpower and determination since his arrival in Italy, overcoming racial abuse at the hands of Cagliari fans to spearhead Inter's attack and has formed a special partnership with Lautaro Martinez as he continues to thrive under the tutelage of Antonio Conte.
The Inter boss had allegedly wanted to sign Lukaku during his time as Chelsea manager, and now its easy to see why.
Since the start of September, Man United have only managed to score six goals in their last seven games, with half of those coming in a single match during the Reds 3-1 win at Norwich.

Meanwhile Lukaku has been cruising to the top of the Serie A top scores table, bagging eight goals in ten games, registering only one loss in that period to Juventus.
With their latest 2-1 win over Bologna Conte's side now sit just one point behind Juventus at the top of the league, whereas United are languishing in mid-table misery at 10th place in the Premier League.
