Liverpool have offered fans a sneak peak into their brand new £50 million training facility they will move into next summer.

Jurgen Klopp's side are set to leave Melwood and move to the facility which is based in Kirkby.

The 9200 square metre complex will be fitted with facilities such as two gyms, specialist rehabilitation suites as well as TV facilities.

Liverpool released a video on Twitter which documents the development so far.

It's also an insight into how the complex will factor into urban regeneration around the area.

Liverpool's Chief Operating Officer Andy Hughes discussed the project and he said per The Guardian:

"It has always been our aspiration to provide a clear pathway for progression for our youngsters from the club's academy to the first-team, and the two facilities are now intrinsically linked.

"Work at the training ground is on track for completion in summer 2020 when we will see the first team and youth football operations come together on one site for the first time in the club's history."

Liverpool boss Klopp has reportedly been consulted by the design of the new training facilities.

Per The Guardian, the 52-year-old insisted on the first team area to be separate as a way of motivating the younger age groups.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is Liverpool's most recent academy graduate to flourish and the 21-year-old is now considered one of the world's best full-backs.

Young players such as Harvey Elliott and Sepp van den Berg have joined 'The Reds' in the summer and new facilities will no doubt aid their growth.

Liverpool could move into their new training ground next summer as Premier League champions.

They have an eight point lead at the top of the Premier League and defeated Manchester City in their last Premier League game.

But their next game is a tricky trip to Selhurst Park against Crystal Palace and they'll likely be without Mo Salah and Andy Robertson.

The duo are set to miss out after failing to recover from ankle injuries over the international break.

Who do you think will win the Premier League this season?
