LEGO have released an incredible 3898-piece model of Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium to celebrate the 110th anniversary of 'The Theatre of Dreams'.

The 1:600 replica model featuring authentic details including the Munich memorial clock as well as the United Trinity statue.

It has been designed for age groups 16 and over with United's official website stating that 'the high attention to detail makes this LEGO model of Old Trafford so special.'

The set costs £249.99 and it will be valuable to any collectors.

It could also be the perfect thing for any Manchester United fan to sink their teeth into while social distancing due to the coronavirus.

Michael Psiaki, LEGO design master, to Manchester United's official website: "To create Old Trafford in Lego bricks was a tremendous design challenge for the team, and we couldn't be happier with the result.

"The 110-year-old stadium provided us with so many important locations, features and stories to tell as we constructed this model. We are excited for our fans to be able to experience all of that history and attention to detail as they construct and proudly display this iconic stadium."

Sean Jefferson, Manchester United's director of partnerships, said: "Our Old Trafford stadium is as iconic as Manchester United itself and we are proud to be able to bring it to life in Lego form.

"I think everyone has played with Lego bricks at some point in their life, however it's still amazing to see the level of detail the Lego designers have managed to recreate in this piece. We are sure it will be hugely popular amongst Manchester United and Lego fans alike."

It's not the first time United have been linked with bizarre merchandise.

Last year, the club partnered with fashion designer Paul Smith to create a slew of formal clothing and accessories.

The designs once again feature Old Trafford but in a far less tasteful way.

An image of the stadium is emblazoned across a backback, which is sold at the hefty price of £440.

However, fans hoping to take the bag into Old Trafford once crowds return won't be able to due to the ground's security measures.

The costly bag measures 44cm x 31cm x 16cm, which is significantly larger than what's allowed.

Safety requirements read:

"Do not bring a bag larger than 20cm x 15cm x 5cm (8" x 6" x 2") with you to the match; this equates to a small handbag."
