It comes as no surprise that Hansi Flick's side dominate the rankings with every player excelling in the competition.
From Manuel Neuer's incredible performance in the final to Alphonso Davies' star making performance against Chelsea, it was a competition they owned.
"I am proud of the team," Flick said after winning the tournament.
"When I saw the headlines in November, all I read was that nobody is afraid of Bayern anymore. The development since then has been crazy.
"We deserved to win, because of the second half. You could already see in training at our winter camp in January that something big was growing. The team just has this overwhelming will to win."
None of last year's winners, which were Messi, Liverpool duo Virgil van Dijk and Alisson as well as Frenkie de Jong were nominated.
In the Europa League, Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes will battle it out with Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku and former Sevilla man Ever Banega for overall player of the tournament.
The jury will be made up of each head coach of last season's Champions League group stage participants, as well as 55 journalists that represent every UEFA member association.
