Karim Benzema Has Just Scored The Most Audacious Backheel You'll Ever See In El Clasico

Karim Benzema opened the scoring for Real Madrid against Barcelona in this evening's 'El Clasico' with an audacious backheel.

Both sides entered the fixture knowing victory would see them favourites for La Liga this season alongside Atletico Madrid.

Madrid lined up without Eden Hazard in their ranks - but that doesn't matter when Benzema is in red hot form.

Federico Valverde burst into the Barcelona half before laying off to Lucas Vasquez, who whipped a fierce ball towards Benzema.

The Frenchman got goalside of Ronald Araujo and caught out goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen with a flick at the near post.

It was a vital goal in the contest and it's expected from one of the world's most in-form strikers.

Toni Kroos made it 2-0 just past the half hour mark after his free-kick deflected in off Sergino Dest, who looked to turn away from the ball.
