Rare Footage Of Lionel Messi Performing A Comedy Routine Proves He's The GOAT Of Everything

Lionel Messi once performed a comedy routine inside the Camp Nou and it is one of the strangest videos you will ever watch.

The Barcelona superstar is regarded as one of the greatest players of all time and is a magician with the ball at his feet.

But did you know he is also a part-time comedian as well? It was news to us as well and honestly, we are still not over the video.

@Messi_Worldwide has shared a video of the Argentine alongside a television presenter wearing an incredibly gaudy costume. He's even called 'Mr Humour'... we didn't make it up.

It's unknown exactly when the video is from, but Messi's hair and other details seem to point to it being in 2005.

Messi isn't known for doing interviews and seeing him let loose in such a way is quite weird.

A standout joke comes towards the end when 'Mr Humour' is asked to name a footballer whose name could be said by a sheep.

His reply of 'Lionel Meehhsi' left the presenter in absolute stitches and even Messi, sorry, 'Mr Humour' looked quite pleased.

The presenter then lets Messi break character and say a few words dedicated to a man identified as Marcelo.

He begins: "Well Marce, I want to send you a big hug and I had a lot of fun today.

"I wish for everyone in Argentina a happy new year and a good one for the next. Together, we can celebrate the World Cup we are going to win!"

Fans have reacted to the clip and they think he could be the GOAT of comedy when he steps away from football - while some have joked it will ruin his legacy.

One joked: Man you didn't score 700+ goals and 300+ assists for this. Image ruined forever."

Another commented: "Is there anything the GOAT cannot do??? The greatest comedian of all time."

A third added: "I'd love to know him as a person. He's too hilarious to be too humble."

While someone else said: "One thing me and Messi have in common....we make bad jokes."

We'd pay good money to see Messi recreate this video in the modern day. Is there anyone who wouldn't?
