Cristiano Ronaldo's had a complete meltdown after watching Lionel Messi's iconic 'shirt celebration' goal during Real Madrid vs Barcelona.

The first 'El Clasico' of 2017 delivered one of the fixture's finest ever games which of course was dominated by Messi.

Everyone knows the script by now. Messi smashed home a last minute equaliser and presented his shirt to Barcelona fans sat in the Santiago Bernabeu away end.

It's an image that's gone down in football history and widely regarded as a reason so many love the sport.

Not Ronaldo, however.

Stood with Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo shouted in fury and kicked a water bottle away in anger.

The Portuguese superstar then flailed his arms in the air while screaming at his teammates before turning away once again.

Spanish publication AS claim Ronaldo shouted: "You should have fouled him!" in reference to Messi or Sergi Roberto.

Marcelo took responsibility for Roberto, who provided the assist, by stating: "I take the blame for not having stopped Sergi Roberto."

Fans have reacted to Ronaldo having an absolute nightmare and many think it's the most emotion he's ever shown.

One fan commented: "I am sure, sometimes Ronaldo curse himself why he born in MESSI era."

Another added: "Ronaldo is always salty of the GOAT's work."

While a third stated: "Do you think Messi will be judged for the stress he brought Real players?"

Despite that last-gasp winner and Barcelona coming away with all three points, Madrid would go on to win La Liga that season.
