One man who will be left most devastated about the result is Messi, who has carried his side throughout this season.
He opened the scoring to register his 29th La Liga goal this campaign but couldn't inspire his side to victory.

Ousmane Dembele put Barca ahead once again before Sergio Leon's late equaliser denied all three points.
"We were good in the first half, with good rhythm and intensity, and led on the scoreboard," Koeman told Marca. "But in the second half we lost a lot of dangerous balls, we lowered our intensity. We made a lot of mistakes in defence and we weren't attentive.
"At 2-2, we reacted and scored, but then it was easy for them to score again. [Conceding] three goals in 45 minutes is not Barcelona's level.

The Dutchman addressed his future as manager and responded: "Coaches are always questioned.
"But I understand that after the second half there will be questions. We're disappointed and we wonder what happened in the second half. We have to move on and we have to prepare for next season."
