Leaked Post Suggests FIFA 2018 Is Set To Release World Cup Update

Unbelievable if true.

An image which suggests that FIFA 18 is set to release a World Cup 2018 mode has appeared online.

A hawk-eyed gamer spotted the supposed leak on the PlayStation Store and posted a picture of the find on Twitter and Reddit, where it has sent online users into meltdown.

There has been no verification that there will be a World Cup update from the FIFA 18, a game both loved and loathed in equal measure, but recent rumours have started to suggest that EA will announce the release of the update in the coming days.

If history is anything to go by, the update is a dead cert. In May of 2014, before the World Cup in Brazil, EA unbelievably released a completely free update to its Ultimate Team mode. The mode featured all 32 teams and even included the official Adidas Brazuca match ball.

For those concerned that this fantastic news is just based on a fragment of evidence, don't' worry.

It's not the first time that rumours of a World Cup 2018 update will feature in the game. Just last September Spanish commentator Manolo Lama confirmed to Radio COPE that he was set to record the commentary for a World Cup update over the Christmas period. Hopefully, that will set your mind more at ease.

The game's over, EA. You might as well reveal it now.
