Jordan Pickford Pulls Off The Cristiano Ronaldo Celebration After England Win

Anything Ronaldo can do, Pickford can do better.

What a night that was: England beat Columbia after a 1-1 draw went penalties. No, you're not dreaming, the Three Lions actually won a match on a shootout.

It seemed as though the whole nation was resigned to defeat when extra-time ended and we were left with a dreaded shootout.

Luckily for us, we have that guy, Jordan Pickford, between the sticks. He saved a wild effort from long range in normal time, and then stopped the South Americans running out winners and claiming a place against Sweden in the quarterfinals on Saturday with a fine penalty save. What a guy.

But that match is the future. There's plenty of time to muse over the upcoming fixture and ask ourselves: "just by how many goals will we beat the Swedes by?"

The answer is, of course, 'plenty', but no, for now, we must concentrate on celebrating. And no one has celebrated quite like the star of tonight's game himself - Pickford.

After saving the deciding penalty, followed by Eric Dier signing off Colombia's defeat with coolly taken finish into the corner from the spot, the Everton goalie was seen running towards his oncoming teammates and pulling off the famous Cristiano Ronaldo celebration.

Fair to say, England supporters really enjoyed that one.

Move over, Ronaldo - it's coming home and no one can stop it. Not even the world's best.
