Jesse Lingard has just produced an incredible solo run from his own half before scoring one of the goals of the season during West Ham vs Wolves.

The 28-year-old is back with the Hammers after featuring in all three of England's World Cup qualifiers during the international break.

He's been in remarkable form for the Hammers since arriving on loan from Manchester United and has continued it this evening.

Lingard received the ball inside his own half and darted straight through the heart of Wolves' midfield and defence.

Romain Saiss couldn't stop Lingard as he got to the edge of the box - before lifting over Rui Patricio in net exquisitely to open the scoring.

Wolves' backline looked shocked as Lingard wheeled away to celebrate with his teammates.

Fans have reacted to the goal and they're still buzzing to see the midfielder back in full flow at club level.

Lingard then played a key role in West Ham's second goal, flicking the ball around Nelson Semedo with ease before playing the ball to Arthur Masuaku.

The Frenchman then played in Pablo Fornals to slot home.

Victory for West Ham will see them move into the top four and one point ahead of Chelsea following their shock 5-2 defeat to West Brom on Saturday evening.

Reports emerged last month claiming Lingard would be open to returning to boyhood club United next season with the promise of more playing time.
