Istanbul Basaksehir and Paris Saint-Germain players walked off the pitch during their Champions League clash after accusing the Fourth Official of racism.

Istanbul assistant manager Pierre Webo was sent off after 14 minutes after words were exchanged with the fourth official, and a heated debate continued on the sidelines at the Parc des Princes.

With the game goalless, Basaksehir substitute Demba Ba claimed the official referred to Webo as 'the black guy'.

The video below shows Ba furiously remonstrating with a referee, stating: "You never say, 'This white guy.' Why when you mention a black guy, you have to say, 'this black guy.'"

One of the officials responds that it is a miscommunication relating to "Romanian language."

On review of the footage, Kylian Mbappe encouraged his PSG colleagues to follow the Istanbul players off of the pitch.

Both teams then left the field to head to the dressing rooms in the 21st minute of the game.

Neymar and Marquinhos were both seen on the touchline in discussion with Coltescu.

Within minutes of the incident, Basaksehir's Twitter feed posted a picture of UEFA's 'No To Racism' campaign.

Play has been suspended and will now resume at 9pm without Coltescu.
