Incredible Video Of Peak Gareth Bale During 12/13 Season Shows Exactly Why He's A Modern Premier League Legend

An incredible video of Gareth Bale at his peak has emerged and it proves he's a modern day Premier League legend.

The Welshman joined Tottenham Hotspur back in 2007 as a full-back and after a slow few years, went on to become one of the club's deadliest wingers.

At 23-years-old during his final season at White Hart Lane, Bale helped carry Spurs to a fifth place finish while scoring 26 goals in all competitions.

Bale went on to join Real Madrid for a then world-record fee of £86 million and despite winning a slew of trophies, he was never accepted in the Spanish capital.

He spent a large chunk of his time on the bench last season after falling out of favour with manager Zinedine Zidane.

He has scored just one goal in the league and the Spurs hierarchy are reportedly 'disappointed' with his contributions.
