Huddersfield Town have shown their class and paid their respect to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger by posting 'Au revoir Arsene' across the away dugout.

The newly-promoted side recognised Wenger's 22 years of service, plus the positive impact he's had on both Arsenal and football in England. They did this by honouring him with a banner before today's game, Wenger's very last game in charge of the Gunners.

Wenger's reign lasted over twenty years - something unheard of in contemporary football. He took Arsenal from a mid-table side in the English to champions. With the north London club, Wenger helped Arsene win the Premier League title three times and the F.A Cup seven times. Under his tenure, the club even, famously, went through an entire season unbeaten, with the Invincibles side of 2004.

Even Huddersfield's manager David Wagner offered Wenger a gift before the match as a token of his and the club's respect.

Hats off to The Terriers. Despite becoming a Premier League side only this season, they still have appreciated a true legend of football in the best way possible.
