Harry Maguire Delivers Brilliant Response To Fan Who Gets Defenders Face Tattoo'd On His Back

Harry Maguire Delivers Brilliant Response To Fan Who Gets Defenders Face Tattoo'd On His Back

Harry Maguire - like the rest of us - is probably walking on Cloud Nine right now.

This is not a drill: England are in the semi-finals of the World Cup - those words still seem unbelievable, like it's not really happening.

One supporter has got a bit too carried away with the whole 'it's coming home' lark and actually got a picture of defender Maguire tattoo'd on his back, after saying he would do so should Maguire score against Sweden.

What's more, the centre-back responded with this classy tweet.

A signed England top from the whole team? Not bad going, that.

England face off against Croatia in the semi-final. Should they win, a World Cup victory is more than possible.

Gareth Southgate was never a popular choice among supporters, but he's somehow got the belief instilled in us once again. Only this time, our belief is not misplaced. England just have to win their next two games and the World Cup is will truly be back home.

It's almost unfathomable, isn't it? England - the side who we watched fall apart to Iceland in the Euros not too long ago - are now one of the serious contenders for winning the World Cup. It's taken a while. Just the fifty or so years since we've tasted such glory.

We've just got to continue believing - much like this supporter.

What a trooper.

Would you like to get Maguire's face tatted on your back - how about Eric Dier? We're sure we know the answer to that but let us know your thoughts in the comments section regardless.
