Spurs were chasing the game with 15 minutes to go on Sunday afternoon and were 2-1 down, while also being a man down after Erik Lamela's red card.
Kane attempted to dispossess Gabriel but instead barged into the Brazilian rather clumsily.
The challenge wasn't checked by VAR and referee Michael Oliver didn't think it warranted any punishment.
Not even looked at by VAR. no attempt on the ball at all. Disgusting tackle by Harry Kane. pic.twitter.com/ixzNsIoYMC

Wonder if this will be addressed on MOTD?! @markchapman pic.twitter.com/HBtbEsjGsM

Fans have reacted to the challenge and they believed England captain Kane was lucky to escape without any consequences.
Trust me if that was Xhaka VAR will stop the game immediately and hand him the red

Btw Kane escaping a card for that foul off the ball on Gabriel even though the ref clearly saw it and saw the intention behind it is a disgrace. England's Golden child treated differently to the other 21 players on the pitch as usual.

VAR should look at that
That's a straight red

Incredible that Kane can just smash into Gabriel late with his elbow and get away with it/commentators down even mention a foul as he's Englands golden boy. "Kane showing his frustration". No, Kane summoning his WWE counterpart.

Kane is so protected, what he did to Gabriel was far worse than Lamela and he receives no punishment at all. He gets away with so much dirty play it's a joke

Harry Kane is such a dirty player and has always been. He table tops players every single day. He flies in late on nearly every challenge, especially the one on Gabriel today.
Only reason he doesn't get called out on it is because he's the England captain.

Spurs took the lead in the first half through Lamela, who scored an outrageous rabona with his left foot.
The Gunners were in control throughout however and equalised thanks to Martin Odegaard's deflected effort just before half-time.
Davinson Sanchez hauled down Alexandre Lacazette in the penalty area in the second half, with the Frenchman slotting past Hugo Lloris to give Arsenal the lead.
Lamela was given his marching orders not long after for a second bookable offence.
The away side had their chances at an equaliser and Kane even had the ball in the back of the net, but it was disallowed.
