Florian Neuhaus beautifully chipped Mainz goalkeeper Robin Zentner in Borussia Monchengladbach's 3-1 victory this afternoon.

The German midfielder collected the ball following Zentner's clearance and launched the ball towards the goal as the keeper ran back to his box.

Despite Zentner getting back in net, Neuhaus' chip drifted past him into the back of the net.

Check out the clip below.

It's the 22-year-old's second goal of the season and it capped off a great performance for Marco Rose's side.

Twitter reacted to the stunning lob.

However, some believed that the goalkeeper made a massive error in jumping too early and missing the shot.

The German club also took to Twitter and posted a video of the midfielder pulling of the same stunt in training.

Monchengladbach have enjoyed a great season under Rose and find themselves in the Bundesliga title race.

They're currently third in the table and two points behind leaders RB Leipzig.
