The Switzerland international moved to Liverpool this summer in a transfer reported to be worth around ยฃ13.5m.
This is already paying off dividends, as the attacker came on as a substitute and scored a superb over-head kick in the Intentional Champions Cup, as the Reds ran out 4-1 winners.
Because of his display, plenty of Reds fans have trolled Gary Neville for his comments.
But the Man United legend has bitten back on social media, even blowing the Liverpool supporters a kiss with an emoji.
Shaqiri can make a huge difference on his day and is capable of scoring some breath-taking goals, his finish against the Red Devils on Saturday night no different.
