Gareth Bale has dropped a major hint about his future at Real Madrid - and it's not looking great for supporters who want to see the winger stay at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

His former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo has already made his way out of the mega-club and to Juventus.

The Wales international said via ESPN and Cadena Cope:

"Maybe I'll stay at Madrid, maybe not. I have to talk to my agent. 'I need more minutes. It frustrated me not to be a starter in the Champions League final.I was frustrated because I did not start the final," he said.

"I knew I was ready to participate in the match and in the end I did it, it was amazing to get that goal, it was pure emotion.

"It was one of those things you do not think about, you just react.

"My chilena? I have not watched it a lot, I went on vacation and disconnected."

The Real attacker's frustration clearly showed after he brilliantly scored an overhead kick against Liverpool in the Champions League final, his celebration 'pure emotion'.

Madrid went on to win the game 3-1 - but now their stars are seemingly looking for a way out of the club, like their former manager Zinedine Zidane.

Ronaldo left the La Liga giants just a number of days ago to Juventus.

His absence could mean more gametime for Bale, but that remains to be seen. The former Tottenham Hotspurs player's recent comments suggesting that he could be heading elsewhere for a new challenge.

Bale broke the world record when he moved to Real in 2013 for a reported transfer fee, somewhere between €91 million and €100 million, but the move hasn't gone as expected, with Bale getting frustrated at his lack of game-time.

Where will he be playing next season? Let us know your thoughts.
