Gareth Bale is set to be a 79-rated card in FIFA 21 - after missing out on Real Madrid's best player list.

EA Sports dropped the top 100 players in the game on Thursday and allowed clubs to reveal their strongest stars.

'Los Blancos' uploaded their top rated players to Instagram and the lowest total is teenage winger Rodrygo, an 80-rated.

Many think that now confirms the Welshman will be 79-rated this year, after being an 85-rated card in FIFA 20.

Images of the former Spurs man's card have circulated online, although they aren't official.

EA are yet to confirm Bale's rating, but fans are convinced he has a hefty downgrade coming.

Bale was frozen out by Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane last season and he made just two appearances after football's restart.

The 31-year-old recently revealed he has tried to leave the club on numerous occasions but they make it "very difficult" every time.

Meanwhile, Premier League duo Aymeric Laporte and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang expressed their frustrations at being downgraded in FIFA 21.

Laporte has had his pace downgraded to 63 and the Manchester City defender believes he is far faster than that.

While Arsenal captain Aubameyang has been reduced to an 87-rated, despite being the Premier League's second-top goalscorer and winning the FA Cup last season.

It comes as no surprise he found his downgrade quite funny.
