FIFA 21 Glitch Sees Erling Haaland Score An Absolute Rocket By Making A Tackle

You'd be fuming if this went in against you, but Erling Haaland won't mind.

Erling Haaland has one of the most powerful shots on FIFA 21 - but an incredible glitch has seen him take it to the next level, scoring from an interception.

EA Sports' hit franchise launched on PS5 and Xbox Series X last week and while graphics have improved massively, the game can bug out on occasion.

Reddit user thedirtydanu shared a clip from Ultimate Team that shows Haaland chasing down Nordi Mukiele and making a block.

Rather than bobble away, it flies around 30 yards and dips past the keeper into the back of the net.

While the glitch would be hilarious for the goalscorer, whoever conceded it would be furious.

Commenters were also frustrated at how a tackle input can be read as a shot.

They reacted to the clip and think it's another example of glitches riddling EA Sports' franchise.

One user said: "I don't know why EA have done it but there are certain types of touches that seem to register as shots. I've seen ones like this where the keeper has blocked a shot by coming off his line and the ball has curved in.

A second added: "Yup. Finally gave it up. Haven't played since early last week, and judging by the posts on here, I'm glad I haven't."

While a third stated: "Damn we gonna have to wait for the next EA Sports engine to get a better game with different glitches."

Haaland does have 93 shot power on this year's game, but it's still a ridiculous goal.

It isn't the first time this has happened on FIFA 21. @NicolasCamz_ on Twitter shared a clip of David de Gea scoring from his own box thanks to a save.

Joao Felix takes a shot at de Gea, who sticks out a boot to make a block.

Normally, that'd be the end of it. But this particular save balloons up in the air and all the way down to the other end.

The opposing keeper is caught off guard, the ball clips the bar and goes in as de Gea runs away in celebration with his teammates.

Replays don't even show the ball in frame, as the glitch sees it fly miles out of the game boundaries.
