FIFA 20 Player May Have Broken The Game With Amazing Defensive 'Hack'

This could change everything.

A FIFA 20 player may have uncovered the greatest defending technique on the game - so good that some are convinced it is a hack.

Defending on EA Sports' hit franchise is something very few have managed to master, so Reddit user u/scrambled_kids' video could be of some use.

He shared a clip of a recent FUT Champs game which showed him darting down the wing with Jay-Jay Okocha.

However, the opponent's Trent Alexander-Arnold emerges from the touchline and snatches the ball away to regain possession.

At first it seems a bizarre glitch, but closer inspection proves it was a shrewd defensive play.

The opponent is actually controlling Alexander-Arnold as soon as the attack begins, before switching to N'Golo Kante at the last second.

It means that the attacker is invited down the line believing he has space, only to be quickly dispossessed.

Fellow gamers have replied to the video jokingly titled 'Wait what? Where? How? Wth? That's hacking right?' and they commended the tactical masterclass on show.

One user said: "You can see his marker switch to that guy and run heavy into the sideline while still off-screen to the left. This man is a genius."

While a second added: "Sometimes you just have to sit back and congratulate people for their superior intelligence. Has anyone done this before? Probably not. This man is so intelligent he creates his own meta."

A third simply put: "This is the best video ever posted."

Another user said: "He takes control of him and runs off the field u can see the player dot on the mini map. Its so smart tho."

It's the kind of quick thinking that could be the difference between a solid Weekend League run or an early exit.

Elsewhere, FIFA fans have begun to voice their concerns for FIFA 21 after Pro Evolution Soccer's 'season update' announcement.

Publisher Konami announced last week that PES 2021 will not be a brand new installment, but a substantial update at a cheaper price in September.

Their next full installment, PES 2022, will release in 2021 and be on the Unreal Engine rather than the Fox Engine.

The shock statement has been praised by critics around the world - while some have chosen to question why FIFA hasn't adopted a similar method.

FIFA 21 is currently set to release on October 9 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X support will be available when those consoles are released.
