A popular FIFA streamer has abandoned the game and decided to begin a career mode on Farming Simulator 2019.

Gamer 'RunTheFUTMarket' has gained 300,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel and a healthy Twitch following thanks to his FIFA Ultimate Team videos.

However, he told his viewers on a recent stream per Dextero.com: "I feel like a lot of us have reached our breaking point now, taking action upon it and doing some different things to make it better."

It's only natural to think he would move on to rival franchise Pro Evolution Soccer which he's played before, but he decided to try his hand at farming.

He went on to explain that he can only see himself returning to FIFA when Team of the Season drops in a few months time.

Despite this, his loyal fanbase weren't without a stream as he quickly loaded up Farming Simulator 2019 to the shock of the chat.

Many fans suggested he start a 'Road to Glory' in an attempt to build the best farm in the game.

It remains to be seen if the path to power in the farming realm but it shows how unhappy fans are with this year's FIFA.

One Reddit user wrote: 'This FIFA has thankfully broken my addiction to the game.'

EA Sports' franchise has been hit with huge criticism this year for a variety of reasons.

Many have slammed the company for features lacking in career mode as well as the overall gameplay.

Some fans took a stand late last year by protesting outside EA headquarters in Bucharest.

A Reddit user shared the story online as a small number of players took issue with pack luck in the popular Ultimate Team mode, button delay and scripting.

User RPRHUNT supported the cause and wrote: "I wish I could join them, its [sic] so frustrating having no one to complain to besides the community."

While alexharvey04 argued: "Realistically tho all that's gonna happen is [they're] gonna have a nice laugh upstairs while calculating how much money there gonna make tomorrow."

Pro FIFA players have also voiced their concerns with server quality after a tournament qualifier was decided via 'Rock, paper. scissors.'

Shaun Galea explained that he and his opponent couldn't find each other to play in the FIFA Ultimate Team Champions Cup Weekend League qualifiers at the beginning of this month.

As a result, qualification was decided over a few rounds of 'Rock, paper, scissors' which Galea lost.
