A video has gone viral on YouTube covering the funniest moments in football this year and it's hilarious.

There hasn't been too much to laugh about in 2020 but the compilation ensures some much-needed smiles.

Highlights include Jamie Vardy celebrating his last-minute winner for Leicester at Sheffield United in the best way possible by smashing up one of the home side's corner flags.

Vardy, a lifelong Sheffield Wednesday fan, got booked for his troubles but it was definitely worth it.

Then there's an awkward interview with Erling Haaland.

The Norwegian had just scored twice for Borussia Dortmund in a 3-0 Champions League away win at Club Brugge.

He was whisked away for post-match interview and the mood soon took a strange turn when the reporter asked the striker if he was "sleeping lonely" tonight.

There's also Jose Mourinho memorably following Eric Dier into the dressing room as the Spurs man dealt with a 'call of nature'.

And there's Luis Suarez getting booked for trying a sneaky glimpse at the VAR monitor during Atletico Madrid's Champions League fixture at Lokomotiv Moscow.

We enjoyed seeing a clearly irked Kylian Mbappe redoing his hair after it's ruffled by a teammate and Georginio Wijnaldum being left hanging by Memphis Depay whilst on international duty.

Our favourite remains Rob Holding heard describing Adama Traore as being "built like a brick shitthouse" as he fumed with Michael Oliver's decision to give a free-kick against him.

With no fans present, those watching at home could very clearly pick up Holding's outburst during Arsenal's clash with Wolves.

Throwing the ball down in frustration, he shouted, "He's built like a brick shitthouse, how's he gone down like that?" after being penalised for fouling Wolves' No.37.
