Antonio Cassano has revealed he put on 14 kilos in seven months at Real Madrid - thanks to the club being sponsored by Nutella.
The Italian forward possessed incredible talent during his career but never showed it consistently.
His time in the Spanish capital was rocked by fitness issues and part of that is down to 'Los Blancos' partnering with Nutella.

Cassano told Bobo TV per Record: "I barely made it at Real Madrid, I lost about 12 kilos. Then [Fabio] Cannavaro came and I won it again.
"Nutella was one of the club's sponsors and they gave us five kilos of product every month.
"When [Fabio] Capello arrived I scored two goals in two games and I felt like the king of the world. After that he replaced me against Lyon, I argued with him in Jérez and took me out of the team.

"In seven months I gained 14 kilos, I ate Nutella straight from the pot by the spoonful, and everything didn't matter to me. It was disgusting.
"I am very sorry for Capello, a person that I love."
Cassano only spent the 2006/2007 season at the Santiago Bernabeu before joining Sampdoria on loan, who would then sign him permanently in 2008.
He would remain in Italy for the rest of his career and in an interview with AS last year, he admitted that while he was happy with his career, he could've "been like Lionel Messi" with more effort.

"I played in some of the strongest sides in the world, I can't say that I wasn't happy or lucky," the 38-year-old begun.
"I even knew that if I screwed up I'd get another chance somewhere else. Like [former Roma teammate Francesco] Totti said a while ago, I only did 50 percent of what I was capable of doing.
"I was a disaster area sometimes and I hated training. If I had done what I should have done over the course of 15 years, I would have been like Messi."
Cassano also explained why he feels Cristiano Ronaldo is a "manufactured talent" compared to the Argentine superstar.

"Cristiano Ronaldo is a manufactured talent," he continued.
"You also notice it on social networks where you see him doing sit-ups with his children.
"There is a lot of talk about him, less about Messi. But in football they are two completely different things. CR7 is very strong, but he has a built talent.

"Messi, on the other hand, is [Roger] Federer, [Michael] Jordan, [Diego] Maradona; something we will never see again in life, he has immense talent as a gift from nature."
