Arsenal fans feel like they're living in a nightmare after seeing former player Theo Walcott score against them to put Southampton 1-0 up.

The Gunners started this evening 15th place in the Premier League and have lost their last four games at the Emirates Stadium.

Meanwhile, the Saints are up in fourth and they opened the scoring through none other than Walcott.

He peeled away from the Gunners defenders to dart into the box and coolly chip the ball over Bernd Leno.

Walcott played for Arsenal between 2006 and 2018, scoring 108 goals in 398 games and winning two FA Cups.

Ralph Hasenhuttl's side have looked the most comfortable throughout the half, while Arsenal have been timid going forward.

Pressure continues to mount on manager Mikel Arteta and fans have reacted to his misfortune.

Despite Arsenal's wretched run of form, technical director Edu still has faith in Arteta and publicly backed him in an interview earlier this week.

Do you think Mikel Arteta is the right man to take Arsenal forward?
