Gary Neville's furious reaction to Anthony Martial's miss vs Liverpool has gone viral and it's hilarious.

Martial found himself through on goal and could have levelled the score at Anfield.

But the Manchester United forward blazed the ball over the bar and a glorious chance was wasted.

Neville was commentating on the game for Sky Sports and cameras captured his reaction.

He was visibly frustrated and fans on Twitter found his table bashing antics hilarious.

Liverpool ran out 2-0 winners in the end and have extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to 16 points.

Jurgen Klopp's side took the lead in the 14th minute through a Virgil van Dijk header as the Dutchman rose above the United defence.

They put the ball in the net twice more in the first half via Roberto Firmino and Gini Wijnaldum but both goals were ruled out.

United grew into the game in the second half but lacked the composure to make their pressure count.

Liverpool scored their second deep into injury time while United poured forward for a corner.

Alisson punted the ball up field for Mo Salah to freely run into the United box and tap past David De Gea.

It tops of a wonderful weekend for 'The Reds' whose main rivals dropped points this weekend.

Leciester City slipped to a 2-1 defeat against Burnley on Sunday afternoon while Manchester City drew with Crystal Palace on Saturday.

It looks like Liverpool's first Premier League title is now a matter of when, rather than if.

United, meanwhile, are fifth and missed a chance to move just two points behind Chelsea in fourth place.
