Corinthians' 1-0 win over Sao Paolo has seen fans get behind the 'Taylor Swift Rule' - with the club never losing directly before or after an album release by the popstar.
The Brazilian outfit edged it out over their fierce city rivals on Sunday thanks to a Romulo Otero goal.
It continues a remarkable record that is directly linked to celebrity megastar Swift. No seriously, you want to hear this.

Swift hit the world stage with her self-titled album on October 24 2006 and either side of that, Corinthians defeated Cruzeiro and Palmeiras respectively.
Fast forward 14 years and Swift has released an additional eight albums with her latest outing, 'Evermore,' launching on Friday December 11.
That means Corinthians have played 18 games linked to the 31-year-old and not lost a single one.

It has been a poor season so far for Vagner Mancini's team and they're ninth in the table.
Evermore was Swift's second album of the year and after noticing the record, 'Timão' fans have adopted Swift as a de facto saviour and want more music fast.

Corinthians return to action on Monday December 21 when they will take on Goias.
To much dismay, they won't have the 'Taylor Swift bounce' to aid them.
