Paulo Dybala’s Hilarious Message To Pjanić About Cristiano Ronaldo Joining Juventus

Cristiano Ronaldo's move from Real Madrid to Juventus put a whole lot of people on notice, including Paulo Dybala and Miralem Pjanić.

Paulo Dybala was Juventus' star man during their Champions League clash with Young Boys, bagging himself a fine hat-trick in the absence of the suspended Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 24-year-old Argentine forward had already put certain plans in place ahead of the Italian's club title defence this season, but it changed when Real Madrid's former talisman completed his high-profile move in the summer.

Now, Dybala has revealed the hilarious exchange he had with fellow teammate Miralem Pjanić once they heard that the five-time Ballon d'Or would be arriving at the club.

"Last year, Mire and I had a pact: if it was towards the left side, he would take it, whereas on the right it would be me," Dybala told La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Football Italia).

"When Ronaldo arrived, I wrote to Pjanić in our chat room: 'Sorry, Mire, but I think you won't be taking many free kicks this year.'

"All joking aside, we know how it works: on the left there's Cristiano, we just stand there to make a good photograph.

"On penalties, it's a clear hierarchy: first Ronaldo, then me and then Pjanić."

Brilliant. Just brilliant.

Pjanić has been unfazed by the idea of Ronaldo taking free-kicks for the club. In fact, he spoke very highly of him back in August.

"Cristiano is here now, someone who in the past few years has shown he is best in the world," he said.

"At first when we trained on free-kicks, it would either be me or Dybala to take it. Now, it's 100 per cent him. He is a tremendous free-kick taker."
