New Arsenal Interim Manager Freddie Ljungberg has tweeted for the first time since he replaced Unai Emery.

Freddie Ljungberg replace Unai Emery today as Arsenal Manager on an Interim basis after a poor run of games which led Arsenal to their worst streak since 1992.

The new Arsenal interim boss said: "However long I oversee Arsenal for I will give everything I have to put smiles on faces again. We have a busy few weeks ahead and the team needs your support. Let's get to work!"

Sources told ESPN FC, Caretaker manager Ljungberg's message to the squad was to play the Arsenal way, when he addressed them for the first time since replacing Unai Emery.

Arsenal released a statement about Ljungberg taking over as interim manager:

"We have asked Freddie Ljungberg to take responsibility for the first team as interim head coach. We have full confidence in Freddie to take us forward. The search for a new head coach is underway and we will make a further announcement when that process is complete."

Freddie is at the Wheel now.
