England are through to the knockout stages of the World Cup after beating Panama at Nizhny Novgorod Stadium.

John Stones opened the scoring with a brilliant header, before captain Harry Kane doubled the Three Lions' lead from the spot with a wicked penalty.

Jesse Lingard then added a third with a superb curling effort from outside the box.

And Stones then got his brace after a well-worked set piece play.

The Panama defence didn't take note of the VAR this tournament and once again fouled an England player in the box and so Kane stepped up and scored a carbon copy of their first penalty.

In the second half, Kane clipped a shot with his heel into the net and got his hat-trick.

It's fair to say, it's got a number of England supporters excited on social media.

England face Belgium in their final group game on Thursday to decide who will be finishing first and second in Group H.
