England Announce First Squad Of 2020 For Nations League Fixtures

England manager Gareth Southgate has named his 24-man squad for the upcoming Nations League games against Iceland and Denmark.

Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has made the squad, despite his ongoing legal trial after being arrested on the Greek island of Mykonos last week.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is also included even though he is missing the start of pre-season and quarantining.

Manchester City's Raheem Sterling features after testing negative for coronavirus. The winger attended a party hosted by Usain Bolt and he will be tested again before joining up with the squad.

There are call ups for Manchester United and Manchester City youngsters Mason Greenwood and Phil Foden.

While Leeds United's Kalvin Phillips is a shock pick in midfield with Jack Grealish, James Maddison and Dele Alli missing out.
