The former Liverpool man is currently without a club after leaving Turkish outfit Trabzonspor via mutual consent in March of last year.
He's kept himself in great shape however and despite being 31-years-old, the ex-England international could be the fittest he's ever been.
Alongside the caption of "Reinvention settings," Sturridge can be seen showing off his biceps in the gym alongside a friend.
Fans took to the comments section to praise Sturridge's physique and they think he could still do a job back in the Premier League.
One commented: "Looking like an absolute beast!!"
Another added: "Daniel Sturridge VS Jake Paul is needed."
A third stated: "Where you playing now man, you need to get somewhere."
While UFC Europe's official Instagram commented with a fist bump. Now that would be some career change.
The Champions League winner was a deadly forward during his early years at Anfield but he sadly suffered a number of injuries.
He told Melissa Reddy: "I saw a quote from [Marco] Reus the other day saying he'd pay any amount of money to just play injury-free or never be injured.
"And honestly, I'd do the same. I would pay any amount of money. I already spend loads of money outside of the physios at work to do extra stuff to ensure that I can be as healthy as possible.
"Hundreds of thousands, to be fair, you know, to make sure that my body can be in the best shape possible. And sometimes, you can put the hours in, you can do everything, but... it is just bad luck."
Sturridge isn't the only former Reds striker to get buff during lockdown. Step forward Fernando Torres.
The 37-year-old stunned fans back in January as photos emerged of his huge physique and how much he has bulked up since retirement.

He then shared another image in February and somehow managed to get even more swole.
One fan tweeted: "He was always big and well build [sic] at LFC but this is bigger!"
Someone else hilariously posted: "Can we get him as our centre-back."
A third said: "Always had that in him -- had unreal deceptive strength given his height."
