Chelsea supporters have taken to mocking Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic on social media.

One of their most important players, Matic was surprisingly sold to Man United under the nose of then Blues manager Antonio Conte. The fiery Italian voiced his displeasure at Matic leaving, and while Chelsea supporters enjoyed Matic's performances, is move to Old Trafford left a bad taste in their mouth.

But what goes around comes around. Matic and Man United are now undergoing a mini-crisis, while Chelsea, under their boss Maurizio Sarri, are looking improved and sharper.

This has meant that Chelsea supporters have taken it upon themselves to start laying into their former player. They screenshotted a picture of Matic holding the Premier League trophy in a Chelsea top and suggested that it would be the last time he would get near to a title ever again.

Matic, though, has bitten back on Instagram. He wrote this reply to the Blues fans.

Recently, Matic was singled-out by Mourinho for having one of the biggest personalities in the dressing room. The manager said of his player after a scrappy win over Brighton:

"When I spend two days with faster build-up and ball arriving earlier between lines and in attacking areas it depends on decisions in possession and movement in attack, I spend two days working on it but attacking players don't want the ball, defenders taking square passes, I have to feel frustrated.

"The biggest frustration is not a bad result because this can happen, it's when I work on the [training] pitch and don't see the situations on the pitch.

"Many, many times Matic was an island of personality and desire and control, surrounded by a lack of personality, class and desire.

We can't imagine we'll see Matic back in a Chelsea top anytime soon.
