Brendan Rodgers has hit back at Rangers manager Steven Gerrard, after the former Liverpool player criticised him in his book.
Gerrard was captain for the Rodger's side that almost won the Premier League in the 2013-14 season, where the Reds surprised everyone and came second in the league.

Rodgers left the club after a run of poor results and joined with Celtic, where he has enjoyed unprecedented success.
But now Gerrard has moved up to Scotland, too. Becoming the boss of Celtic rivals Rangers.
In Gerrard's autobiography, he openly criticises his former boss for not winning the title that year. As per The Times, he said that Rodgers appeared to be overconfident: "I sensed an over-confidence in Brendan's team talks. We played into Chelsea's hands."
But the Celtic boss has now defended his tactical set-up for the match and even taken a sly dig at Gerrard by referencing the slip he famously made in the match against Chelsea.
He said: "I don't think I was more or less confident. We'd won 11 on the bounce. You want to go in with confidence.
"The Chelsea game we played really well but it's just unfortunate it [the slip, with Demba Ba scoring] happens right before half-time.
"We could have drawn but they score again at the death. It wasn't pressure or anything like that. The last 14 games we won 12, drew one, lost one."
It's safe to presume that this war of words with continue for some time, with the two managers at two clubs who share arguably the fiercest rivalry in football.
