Paco Alcacer is set for a move to the Bundesliga, after reportedly agreeing to move to Borussia Dortmund.

After a long two years with Barcelona, Alcacer has been unable to force his way to the starting line-up - and so now will be shipped off to the west German side, according to Italian outlet CalcioMercato.

Alcacer joined Barcelona from Valencia for € 30 million in summer 2016 and many had high hopes for the striker. But since the move, he has managed tp score only15 goals in 50 appearances with the Blaugrana.

It's not a great return by any measure.

Barcelona are looking to put all their efforts into Europea this year, with Lionel Messi saying that they hope to win next season's Champions League.

"Last season was really good as we did the double but we all felt bad about how it went in the Champions League," Messi said. "We promise that this season we will do all we can to bring that beautiful trophy back to the Camp Nou."

"It's a source of great pride to be captain," Messi said before the 3-0 win. "I know what it means to wear the armband but I am lucky to have had great role models such as [Carles] Puyol, Xavi and the great Andres whom we will miss this season."

That's some pledge by Messi.

But can you see Alcacer moving to Germany? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
