Arsenal and Barcelona have been tussling for the signature of Steven NZonzi, but it appears that AS Roma have come in to spoil the party and sign the Frenchman.
NZonzi enjoyed a spell in the Premier League at Stoke City, and even for a period at Blackburn Rovers - but he never set the world alight during his time in England.

At 6'6 he offers a good range of heading and is able to hold up the ball well. He's represented France at the U21 level, and has nine caps for France, including being part of the 2018 World Cup winning side.
But now, it appears that Champions League semi finalist AS Roma have come in to seal the deal, as per Alessandro Austini, a respected Italian sports journalist.
According to the reporter, a deal worth 25 million Euros could be in place.
More recently, however, Calcio Mercato are saying that a move is just inches away, NZoni's current side Sevilla happy to lower their price from 35 million Euro to a price of between 28-30 million Euro, with the player set to sign a four-year deal.
