Last season the fans were disappointed in not reaching a Champions League spot, however this season as looks as though the club might not even be in the Europa League. T
heir only way through to the Champions League next season is by winning the Europa League this year, meaning that the remaining matches in the league are pretty much meaningless.
This plummet in form has taken its toll on the fans and the attendance figures of the Emirates Stadium in recent times have been impacted as a result.
In a press conference, Wenger was asked about the poor attendances.
"We are sold out in every single game so I don't know where the problem is at the moment," said Wenger he replied.
"If you look at our numbers and how much people want to renew tickets for next season, I don't believe that we have a major problem."
With Arsenal's ticket prices being the most expensive in the league, the Frenchman's comments have enraged some supporters online, who felt that his response were ill-advised at best.
