Hamburg might have been relegated from the Bundesliga for the first time in their history, but their supporters are making sure they're going out with a bang.
Hamburg were the only team left in the Bundesliga who had never been relegated, but all that has changed today.
They beat Borussia Monchengladbach 2-1 at the Volksparkstadion, but it wasn't enough. Wolfsburg's 4-1 victory over FC Koln means that Hamburg will be playing football in the second tier of German football next season.

And it's safe to say that their supporters haven't taken the news particularly well at all.
Before their fate was sealed, in the 90th minutes the game had to be briefly stopped. Hamburg fans ran onto the pitch and created havoc, using flares and pyro on the pitch. Riot police had to chase off some supporters who invaded the pitch, in unbelievable scenes.
Hamburg condemn the intruding supporters.
And Gladbach weren't too happy with the off-the-pitch scenes, either.
In fairness, away Gladbach supporters didn't help matters They brought their own mock-up countdown clock to the ground and ticked away minutes towards Hamburg's demise. Evil or genius, we'll let you decide.
