Son Heung-min had an incredible, heart-warming reaction when he realised Harry Kane had assisted his goal against Burnley.

The Tottenham duo have combined superbly this season, including Kane setting up all four of Son's goals against Southampton. But when Kane nodded the ball into Son's path for the South Korean striker to then head past Nick Pope, Son wasn't sure who had provided the assist.

While celebrating the goal, Son clearly asked Kane: "Did you get the assist?" The Spurs No 10 gave him a nod and Son looked to the heavens in pure delight as they embraced. A wonderful moment.

Kane and Son clearly share a bond off the pitch off the pitch as well as on it. The pair have now combined for 29 Premier League goals in total, putting them joint second on the all-time combination list.

Only Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard for Chelsea have recorded more (36), though Kane and Son have plenty of time to catch them. Especially if they keep combining at this rate.

Kane has scored slightly more (15 goals to 14 for Son). However this season it has been weighted the other way around, with Kane playing provider and Son bagging the majority of the goals.

The 28-year-old Son currently leads the Premier League Golden Boot standings with eight, one ahead of Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

His partner in crime Kane has exactly the same number of assists. His eight is double that of the player in No 2 spot this season: Aston Villa's John McGinn.

So Burnley can hardly be surprised that they were undone by the Kane-Son combination in this 1-0 victory for Spurs.

The pair are arguably the top two form players in the league right now - and judging by Son's reaction, they get a tremendous amount of joy from playing up top together.

Son is well on course to beat his best Premier League goal tally of 14 in a season. However it's the performances of Kane that have really astonished, as he sets Kevin De Bruyne-style numbers. In fact, keep up the current rate and Kane will beat the Prem's single-season assist record of 20.

It's also great news for Jose Mourinho as his side rise to fifth in the table, two points off Everton at the top, thanks to the form of Kane and Son. Some have questioned whether modern Mourinho squads are always happy ones, but it's clear that his strike force are loving life right now.

What's next? Harry Kane on his knees with a rose in his mouth after his slide-rule pass puts Son through for yet another Spurs goal? We cannot rule it out.
